The Mommies Corner Live was founded by Debbie Macias on October 1, 2007. She was inspired by her son Wynton (born Sept. 2003) who was diagnosed with XXY; and her daughter Brenda (born May 2007) who was born with Down Syndrome, to reach out to parents, grandparents, caregivers, all over the world with hours of research on many subjects regarding parenting. So she created her website The Mommies Corner Live.
Her inspiration to broadcast live via the internet, was from her husband Minister Darryl Macias; he started his own internet show "The Preacher's Corner Live" back in April of 2007, his site can be seen at www.thepreacherscornerlive.com. He does a nightly show via the internet at 9pm (Mon. - Thurs.) and on Fridays he is joined by his good friend and co-host Minister Jodie Collins - this show starts at 7pm.
Debbie loves the Lord, her husband and her two beautiful children and she is very dedicated to making sure that they are well taken care of. She homeschools her son, and plans to homeschool her daughter when she is school age.
She also loves to do lots of research in her spare time on many different subjects that can help herself and others when it comes to spiritual growth, parenting, cooking, building, crafts, games, medical research, etc.
That is what this website is for, to reach out to each and every one of you and hope to give you information, encouragement, hope, support in all you do on being a parent, and striving to be the best that you can be.
